Is shopping on your site secure?
Yes, at Shades of Midnight all of your account information and check out process is handled through a secure server. All orders are processed through PayPal. They handle all of your personal credit information, keeping it protected and safe.
At no time will the information you provide for your Shades of Midnight account be sold to others or used for any purpose other than to process your order or notify you of new products if you have opted to receive these notices.
Do I have to have a PayPal account to buy from you?
No, a PayPal account is not required. PayPal will process your payment using a credit card or you can pay using your PayPal account. You choose the payment that suits you best.
Do I have to set up an account to buy from you?
Yes, a Shades of Midnight account is required to be able to go through the checkout process. The information you provide to create this account is for shipping and order tracking only and is handled through a secure server. This information will not be used for any other purpose.
Do you ship outside the United States?
At this point in time we are only able to ship to US and UK customers. If you are outside of our shipping area and would like to purchase from us, please send us an email and we will look into shipping options for you. Please be aware that there are different restrictions on what can and cannot be shipped to certain countries. Shipping to your area may not be possible.
When will my order ship?
Orders typically ship within 24 to 48 hours after payment is received. If there is ever a time where shipment cannot be made in this time frame, you will be notified as soon as possible.
What is your return policy?
Ideally, anything purchased from Shades of Midnight is exactly what you are looking for and arrives in perfect condition. In the case where do you find you are not satisfied with a product and want to return it, you must contact us within 15 days of receipt. You must provide the original invoice number and merchandise must still be in the original packaging. Shades of Midnight will only accept items for return that are approved and given a return authorization number. Returns may be subject to a 15% restocking fee and return shipping fees.
If you have received damaged merchandise, please contact us within 15 days of receipt. Due to the unique nature of each product, replacement of the exact product cannot be guaranteed. We will do our best to repair the damaged product or replace it with another one that is as close to the original as possible.
Do you charge sales tax?
Sales tax is only charged on orders shipped to Missouri customers.
Do you do custom orders?
Custom orders are taken on a case by case basis depending on the request. There will be a non-refundable deposit required for all orders and that amount is based on the item requested.
How do I contact you?
Since the majority of my time is spent creating and working on beautiful things to list, I am not often available to receive phone calls. The fastest way to contact me is by email. Email is checked on a regular basis and all messages are answered in a timely manner. If you have an issue and wish to speak to me on the phone, please send an email with your phone number and a time of day I can get in touch with you and I would be glad to call you.
