Grandma Blankets

Grandma Blankets are a staple and a tradition in my family. My grandmother started it years ago and now my mother continues it. A Grandma Blanket is typically made with two layers of flannel sewn together with a layer of batting in between and tied together with yarn. Occasionally there will be one with cotton on one side and flannel on the other or even two sides of cotton instead of flannel. The possibilities are endless and no matter what material is used, they are probably the coziest blanket you will ever own.
